Albanian Airlines successfully implemented the Web Booking Online project on November 10, 2008 and is currently working on flight destinations and prices. Please, check availability and make a booking online.

LIABILITY
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in line with our General Conditions of Carriage the passenger’s checked baggage may not contain:
a) cash, securities, bank and credit cards;
b) jeweler, precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones;
c) computer, video camera, camera, cellular phone, and any other valuable electronic devices, musical instruments or technical appliances and their accessories;
d) official, business or private documents or product samples;
e) travel or other identity documents;
f) keys;
g) liquids (exception: wheelchair battery acid);
h) medicine or medical equipment (e.g. dioptric spectacles);
i) works of art and fine arts;
j) fragile items and perishable goods.
We are not liable for the loss, damage or delay of the above items placed in passenger's checked baggage.
The following items may be transported, provided a declaration has been made at the time of reservation and Albanian Airlines is in agreement:
a) fragile items and perishable goods;
b) materials of a noxious nature;
c) sporting and hunting firearms, handgun for self-defense and official duty
d) oversize baggage as described in the General Information chapter of the Timetable;
e) baggage in excess of 50 kg;
f) live animals;
g) oxygen and air bottles for medical purposes;
h) dry ice for cooling;
i) bottles filled with liquid nitrogen for cooling purposes;
j) barometers and measuring instruments containing mercury.
We would like to inform you that fragile and perishable items may be carried only if reported when making a seat reservation and specifically agreed upon with Albanian Airlines policy  in advance.

Please affix labels with your name and home address both inside and outside your luggage to enable us to deliver it as soon as possible in case of mishandling.

Hand Baggage

The aim of our new cabin baggage requirements is to help all our passengers get through the airport quickly and efficiently. Flight safety is our primary concern, therefore your cabin baggage must fit either under the seat in front of you, or in the overhead compartment.

ECONOMY CLASS
Economy Class passengers are allowed to take 1 piece of cabin baggage on board. Dimensions and weight may not exceed 55x40x20 cm/10 kg.
Oversized cabin baggage will be tagged during check-in or before boarding. Please remove all valuables, travel documents and necessary personal belongings from the baggage which will be loaded into the cargo hold.


Damaged Baggage

If at the return of the baggage it is apparent that the baggage is incomplete or damaged, this must be reported by the passenger to arrival airport – Lost Luggage Department, prior to leaving the arrival area. The passenger may report the damage of checked baggage in writing within seven days from the arrival of the flight, provided that the damage or incompleteness could not be detected upon returning the baggage. In this case the passenger is obliged to prove that the damage was not detectable at the time of collecting the baggage. In case Albanian Airlines  does not carry the passenger and the baggage on the same flight, the deadline for reporting the damage in writing shall be 21 days from the collection of the baggage.
The following documents shall be attached to the  claim signed by the passenger: 

  • The inside back cover of the original flight ticket or its legible copy;
  • the property irregularity report (PIR);
  • the baggage tag;
  • any excess baggage tickets;
  • the boarding pass;
  • any other documents that may be required for settlement
